Category:

Mindfulness and meditation classes for groups are welcome for all (beginner or experienced practitioners). You are welcome to join any class you wish.

Every week has a theme which the classes for each day in that week follow, so it is advised (but not obligatory) to follow the week from beginning to end, to maximize what you get out of the classes.

Classes last around 30 minutes and they usually consists of 3 parts:

  • Introduction
  • Guided meditation
  • Q&A

Meditation for Beginners Week (29th Nov – 5th Dec)

Created to support beginners on their meditation journey, introducing basic concepts and common meditation practices. More experienced practitioners are welcome as well.

  • Tuesday – Connecting with your breath
  • Wednesday – Connecting with your body
  • Friday – Using the breath to guide you into mindfulness

Week of Focus – Improving concentration and eliminating distractions (Dec 6th – 12th)

Classes dedicated to improving concentration, being more present, and learning to eliminate or minimize distractions.

  • Monday – Focusing by being present
  • Wednesday – Eliminating distractions
  • Friday – Improving concentration

Note: Each session is 30 minutes long and is limited to 20 students. Available slots on each day follow the same subject that is titled above. Zoom link will be sent to your e-mail at least 30 minutes before the session and you will be able to connect to the session 10 minutes earlier. If it is possible, join the session before the start, so we can settle in and begin on time 🙂

    The meditation session was great! Vanessa is a great teacher. In this “Meditation for beginners — Connecting with your breath” she firslty explained to us why is the breath so powerful and why do we use it as an anchor whilst meditating. Next, she guided us through a 20 minute meditation session where we relaxed, focused on the present moment and invited self compassion.

    The group sessions are a really great motivator if you want to start meditating regularly, but are constantly busy with everyday life. The group keeps you grounded and makes you come back for another session. This session encouraged me to try out the private session to have a more personalized experience.
